History of Maxim Nyansa The Gambia
On March 8th 2021 Maxim Nyansa Gambia was officially registered as a charitable Foundation under the Gambian companies ACT 2013. Our mission is to create career perspective for young Gambians using information technology. Our vision is to launch leaning transformation and training programs in The Gambia to equip young Gambians with modern technical skills. We train young IT graduates practically to prepare them for the job and we also encourage schools to implement ICT and 21st century skills in their curriculum and way of teaching. We offer integrated IT solutions to create career perspectives:
1. Learning transformation programs for schools.
2. Bootcamps for young IT graduates.
3. Vocational IT training for young potentials.
Before the establishment of Maxim Nyansa in the Gambia, our country director traveled to Ghana to learn from their activities. Our first project was successfully executed at New Yundum Upper Basic School on March 8th 2022. We have started with the learning transformation program and hope to soon impact by adding bootcamps in IT Professionalism with an international IT certification.

Ibou Camara
Country Director
Ibou Camara holds double Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Economic & Social Policy), Health & Environment (Public Health Pathway) and a Master’s of Science in computer Networks. Ibou is the founder of Real Tech Gambia Ltd. Real Tech and Maxim Nyansa have similar vision and mission and this led to the collaboration of the two entities in 2021.
Sheikh Tijan Jarjue
Project & Marketing Manager
Sheikh Tijan Jarjue holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Finance, Diploma in Human Resource Management. Besides, he is a trained Agriculturist and a youth ambassador who has served in several Youth Councils in the country. Sheikh joined Maxim Nyansa Gambia in February 2021.
Lawrence Mendy
Public Relations Manager/ICT Trainer
Lawrence Mendy joined Maxim Nyansa Gambia in January 2021, as part of the partnership with Real Tech Gambia Ltd. Lawrence holds a higher diploma in Web Development and also certified in cisco networking associated (CCNA). Lawrence trains teachers so they can teach students, as part of our learning transformation programs which we are launching in schools in The Gambia.
Marie Camara
Project Administrator
Marie Camara has a vast knowledge and experience in media, administrative and ICT. Marie has worked with several media houses (Radio) as presenter, producer and administrator. Now working as a part time presenter on weekends, with her experience Marie can bring change in the development of Real Tech-Maxim Nyansa IT Solutions.
