History of Maxim Nyansa Sierra Leone
Our mission is to create career perspective for young Sierra Leoneans with the use of information technology. Our vision is to launch learning transformation and training programs in Sierra Leone to equip young people with 21st-century skills. We are an NGO specialized in education and IT. We train young IT graduates practically to prepare them for the job and we encourage schools to implement IT and 21st century skills in their curriculum and way of teaching. We offer integrated IT solutions to create career perspectives:
1. Learning transformation programs for schools.
2. Bootcamps for young IT graduates.
3. Vocational IT training for young potentials.
In January 2021 Maxim Nyansa Sierra Leone was founded and our office was opened. Our Country Directors visited Ghana to learn from their activities and our first project at Rising Academy Network was executed. We have started with the learning transformation programs and hope to soon increase our impact by adding bootcamps and international IT certification.

“I was motivated to start Maxim Nyansa Sierra Leone together with my wife because of the challenges I faced during my first year in the university during my undergraduate studies. I entered the university without basic computer skills and as a result I used to pay at the Internet cafe for two services; for Internet access for research and using their computer for typing my assignments.. During my school days I was not privileged to have access to IT training.”
In order to alleviate the challenges he went through during his studies, Gabriel volunteered to start Maxim Nyansa Sierra Leone to help improve ICT intervention and improve primary and secondary education in the country. Until today, Maxim Nyansa Sierra Leone has established 3 IT school labs and counting.

I was selected by Maxim Nyansa Ghana for scholarship boot camp program in Software Development in 2020.
I applied for the program through their website after completing Diploma in Information Technology and Bsc. Computer Science. I moved from Sierra Leone to Ghana in February 2020 by the support of Maxim Nyansa IT Solutions. We faced challenges during the program because of the Covid pandemic but I never gave up in my dreams. My performance was excellent! I was able to acquire the following certificates: Certificate in Software Development, Master Track in web Development, Certificate in Agile Scrum Foundation. All under the umbrella of Maxim Nyansa IT Solutions Ghana.
After the program, I was given the chance to return home to work with Gabriel Joe and Laura Joe-de Bruine to start Maxim Nyansa in Sierra Leone. We have successfully registered the Organization in Sierra Leone and we have executed 5 school projects in 2021.

Currently, I am doing the communications for Maxim Nyansa Sierra Leone, including keeping our socials up to date.
